Tyler McConachieI am a freelance sports reporter who has covered the NFL since 2009. I've been a huge football fan for over 20 years and am extremely passionate about it. I figured since I love to talk about it with anyone who will listen I might as well start writing about it.

Philly fans get no respect
I recently saw some video footage of a little bit of an event at the Eagles-49ers game on Sunday. What I saw completely floored me. Eagles fans were throwing snowballs at a few San Francisco fans in the audience.
I know what you’re thinking and I’m shocked too. Normally Eagles fans ooze with class and respect. I mean it’s one thing to throw beer bottles at Santa when he’s parading around at halftime annoying everyone. That shit gets real tired real fast. But snowballs at guests to your stadium?
While I’m still at a loss of words as to why anyone would want to paint a nasty picture of Eagles fans I’d like to remind those 49ers fans to stop thinking that they got disrespected. It’s not like they were throwing glass bottles at you. Beer comes in plastic bottles now and you can THANK Eagle fans for that one.
Instead of people always trying to make Eagles fans look bad they should realize that their just really passionate. These are fans that expect perfection. If the Eagles don’t score on a drive don’t be surprised to hear boos. It’s the job of the offense to score points and if they don’t do their job they deserve to get booed.
So the next time you look down at an Eagles fan just remember this: How happy would you be if your team always came up just a little short? That’s what I thought.
