About the author
Tyler McConachieI am a freelance sports reporter who has covered the NFL since 2009. I've been a huge football fan for over 20 years and am extremely passionate about it. I figured since I love to talk about it with anyone who will listen I might as well start writing about it.

Steelers starting to slip
A few weeks ago the Pittsburgh Steelers seemed to have turned things around. Now they’ve turned it around again, which means they’ve done a complete 360, which means they’re back where they were when I thought they’d turned it around. Umm…..I’m lost here.
Basically things seem to be going in the wrong direction. Yesterdays loss to [...]
Giants backed into a corner
The New York Giants came out the gates blazing hot. They started the season off at 5-0 and people were talking about the Giants being the best team in football.
After 4 straight loses the best team in football talk has stopped and the Giants find themselves 1 game behind Dallas in the division. Eli Manning [...]
Polamalu to miss another game
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without all pro safety Troy Polamalu this Sunday when they face off against the Chiefs. Polamalu has already missed 4 games earlier this year with a sprained MCL.
When the press tried to find out what was ailing him, Troy played the mysterious role. “Who says there’s even a real knee [...]

Vikings hoping to keep Childress
The Minnesota Vikings have offered Brad Childress a contract extension. And he’ll probably accept it, whenever he gets around to reading it.
Childress spoke to reporters today after practice and said there was a document waiting on his desk for approval. He better get to reading and signing that quick before the Vikings come to their [...]

Russell not the problem in Oakland
The Raiders have finally decided to bench JaMarcus Russell. In his place the Raiders will start Bruce Gradkowski. Who? Exactly.
The Raiders are a bad team, I think it’s painfully obvious for some time now. Why is that though? I know everyone is talking about why people shouldn’t gang up on Russell because of the recent [...]

Besnosn displays great attitude about LJ
Boy that didn’t take long. Now that Larry Johnson is on the scene in Cincinnati we have our first bit of turbulence. Cedric Benson seems to have his panties in a knot about the whole ordeal.
When one of the reporters mentioned to Benson that he looked like he dropped his sucker in the mud, his [...]

Ocho + the Black Hole = Viewers
When the Bengals visit Oakland this weekend Ochocinco is going to do something that may actually get some people to watch a Raiders game. He’s going to jump in the Black Hole.
In his locker room interview earlier today Ocho was asked if he had any special plans for the fans in Oakland. “You think I [...]

Pro Bowl should be renamed Pop Bowl
This year they’ve decided to do something different with the Pro Bowl, play it a week before the Super Bowl. I think this is a great idea because having the Pro Bowl after the Super Bowl is very anti-climatic. It’s too bad the Pro Bowl is a joke now.
I checked out the people who were [...]

Thoughts on the Quinn cheap shot
There has been a lot of talking from the Ravens, as usual, about this supposed cheap shot from Brady Quinn on Terrell Suggs this week. So I decided I had to have another look at the play. I’m still not sure how I missed this, I mean my eyes were glued to the set on [...]
